Rollback reconstruction for TDC enhanced perfusion imaging

نویسندگان

چکیده

Tomographic perfusion imaging is a significant modality for stroke diagnosis. However, the low rotational speed of C-arm (6–8 s per circle) challenge applying in cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). Traditional reconstruction methods cannot remove artifacts caused by slow or acquire enough sample points to restore time density curve (TDC). This paper presents dynamic rollback method CBCT. The proposed can improve temporal resolution increasing used calculating TDC. Combined with existing techniques, algorithm allows slow-rotating scanners be purposes. In experiments, was compared other algorithms based on standard and interpolation approach. presented could without X-ray exposure contrast agent.

Filter selection for 99mTc-Sestamibi myocardial perfusion SPECT imaging [Persian]

Myocardial perfusion SPECT imaging with Tc99m-sestamibi is the most accurate non-invasive means of detecting coronary artery disease and assessing the severity of perfusion abnormalities in the patients with coronary stenosis. Though simple and straight forward the results produced by the technique is very much affected by the details being used. One of the main problems with the test, wh...

Two-day stress-rest lower limbs perfusion scan in patients referred for myocardial perfusion imaging

Introduction: Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) is a major cause of morbidity and is associated with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). We aimed to perform Lower Limb Perfusion Scan (LLPS) in patients referred for Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI) and estimate prevalence of PVD in subgroups with normal and abnormal MPI results. We also compared quantitative indices of LLPS in pati...

Simulation of Perfusion Flow Dynamics for Contrast Enhanced Imaging

Dynamic Contrast Enhanced Computed Tomography is an imaging tool that aids in evaluating functional characteristics in different stages of disease assessment: diagnostic, treatment effectiveness and monitoring. At the present time, following all the technological advances, there remains no universally validated method of quantitative, non-invasive, perfusion imaging. In order to address this ch...

T2* measurement during first-pass contrast-enhanced cardiac perfusion imaging.

First-pass contrast-enhanced (CE) myocardial perfusion imaging will experience T(2) (*) effects at peak concentrations of contrast agent. A reduction in the signal intensity of left ventricular (LV) blood due to T(2) (*) losses may effect estimates of the arterial input function (AIF) used for quantitative perfusion measurement. Imaging artifacts may also result from T(2) (*) losses as well as ...

Spatio-Temporal Analysis of Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound Perfusion Imaging Data

I. INTRODUCTION Contrast enhanced ultrasound is used for detection of tumors in different organs, such as liver [1] or brain [2] via perfusion specific imaging. The foundations for this differentiation are the morphologically differences of tumor tissue due to the development of new blood vessels to fulfill the high nutritional needs of the fast growing neoplasia. The combination of 2D image pr...
